Neuro-Ease Night: Discover how stress influences life long brain development and what to do about it
by Brainwaves

Description of Event
Through an interactive evening, students will discover the concept of neuroplasticity. This umbrella term envelops the physiologic and physical changes in the brain as a result of environment, emotions, behavior and injury. Although there is a lot that can alter the brain’s neuronal make up, this event will focus on how stress can influence life long brain development. Additionally, students will discover how to reduce stress through mental techniques and healthy habits, such as meditation, yoga and exercise, which lead to healthy brain development.
